Sheeran co-wrote this song with Johnny McDaid of the band Snow Patrol. They were sued for copyright infringement by Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard, who claimed that Sheeran had stolen ideas from the song “Amazing” that the pair had written for Matt Cardle. The suit was settled privately.
