Will It Go Round in Circles

Billy Preston is one of the funkiest pianists from the last century. You might know him from his work with Little Richard (starting at age 16), Ray Charles, The Beatles or The Rolling Stones, but “Will It Go Round in Circles” was his first chart-topping song as a solo artist. This song is really fun to learn because in many ways it’s quite simple: just a few chords, some simple loops, and a very repetitive verse-chorus form. That means we get to focus on all the nuances of the funky syncopated piano part! Hope you enjoy 🙂
