Songbird

“Songbird” is a beautiful ballad off of Rumours, a legendary album from Fleetwood Mac. While the majority of the songs were recorded at a studio in Sausalito, CA, “Songbird” stands apart because it was recorded in a concert hall to capture the ambience the band felt the song deserved. Christine McVie wrote, played, and sang this one. There are a few things to keep in mind while learning: the LH always, and I mean always, plays the Root, 5th and Root shape, while every single note in both hands comes from the F major scale.
