Fortunate Son

This song by Bruce Hornsby—not to be confused with CCR’s—features a lush, flowing piano part that paints a landscape upon which the vocals sit. If you listen closely you’ll hear it doubled in synth and strings at times, adding beautiful depth. It’s one of my personal favorite Hornsby songs and is one of his most requested at shows—often paired with a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb.” I hope you dig the lesson! -Dan
